ATLANTA (July 27, 2023) – Atlanta United 2 today announced the club’s Availability Report presented by Piedmont ahead of its regular season match against Columbus Crew 2 at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground on Friday, July 28 (7:00 p.m. EDT, MLSNEXTPro.com).
The club also announced today that Tyler Young suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) to his left knee during training on Friday, July 21. He will undergo surgery at a date to be determined to repair and will miss the remainder of the season.
The 22-year-old defender held a 60.7% duel percentage, 11 interceptions and 10 tackles while starting in seven of the eight games played, totaling 590 minutes.
ATL UTD 2 (6-8-5, 24 points) returns to action on Friday, July 28 when it hosts Columbus Crew 2 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground (7:00 p.m. EST, MLSNEXTPro.com).
