Atlanta United 2 Announces Date Change for Match against Chicago Fire II

CHICAGO (July 20, 2023) – Chicago Fire FC II and MLS NEXT Pro today announced a schedule change for the Club’s match against Atlanta United 2 in August. The match will take place on Thursday, Aug. 3 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.

Kickoff for the second game of the season against Atlanta is set for 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT) and the match will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. 

The match was originally slated to take place Friday, Aug. 4. Gates will open at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT) at SeatGeek Stadium, and match entry and parking are free. 

Atlanta United 2 is coming off a 3-2 loss away at Orlando City B, with goals coming from Jackson Conway and Nick Firmino, who leads MLS NEXT Pro with 11 goals this season. The team returns home this Sunday, July 23 to face Huntsville City FC at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The match is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
