Atlanta United 2 fell 2-1 to Indy Eleven at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on Saturday evening. Grant Howard recorded his first professional assist, while Nelson Orji made his first start for ATL UTD 2.

Indy opened the scoring after receiving a free kick a yard away from the Atlanta box in the 10th minute. Nicky Law took the set piece opportunity and snuck his shot inside Justin Garces’ left post to give the Eleven a 1-0 advantage in the 12th minute.

Midfielder Nick Firmino sent Howard on a run down the right flank before the defender took the ball to the goal line and whipped a cross into the Indy box. Jackson Conway took the shot on the half-volley, tucking in the equalizer past Elliot Panicco in the 68th minute.

After striking the post twice in the late stages of the game, Indy Eleven would find the winner in the 92nd minute. Law played a one-two to gain entry into the Atlanta box, before cutting back to Aris Briggs for a tap-in goal.

ATL UTD 2 (2-5-0, 6 points) travels to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 23 to take on Pittsburgh Riverhounds in Highmark Stadium (ESPN+, 7 p.m. ET).
