Last Time Out
ATL UTD 2 is fresh off its second road victory of the season following a 2-1 triumph over Huntsville City FC on July 27. Atlanta controlled a majority of the match, giving Huntsville few opportunities throughout the match. However, neither side would break through until the second half when in the 47th minute newcomer Rodrigo Neri connected on a pass in the box from Tyler Wolff, flicking a left-footed shot over Huntsville’s keeper and into the roof of the net for his first ATL UTD 2 goal. Just three minutes later, Neri met a cross sent to the back post from Matt Edwards, rising over his defender to head the ball over the goal line to double the lead. In the 75th minute, Huntsville was able to pull one back following a penalty kick from Oliver Wright after a handball was called just inside the box.

Previous Meeting
Atlanta United 2 holds a 0-2-0 (W-L-D) all-time record against New England Revolution II. The last matchup between the two sides ended in a 5-1 defeat for Atlanta on Aug. 13, 2023, at Gillette Stadium. Jackson Conway scored the lone goal for Atlanta.

Welcome Kaiden
Atlanta Untied 2 announced the signing of defender Kaiden Moore on July 26. The Academy product signed an MLS NEXT Pro deal through 2025 and will become an Atlanta United Homegrown on Jan. 1, 2026. Moore, 17, made his professional debut against Philadelphia Union II in April.
