Atlanta United 2 Loans Goalkeeper Jayden Hibbert to Birmingham Legion FC

Atlanta United 2 today announced it has loaned goalkeeper Jayden Hibbert to Birmingham Legion FC in the USL Championship. Hibbert’s loan runs through Nov. 30, 2024, though ATL UTD 2 has the right to terminate the loan at any point of the season.

The Jamaican international joined Atlanta through the 2024 MLS SuperDraft after being selected with the No. 19 overall pick. This season, Hibbert has started in five matches and made 19 saves for ATL UTD 2 in MLS NEXT Pro. The 19-year-old has also received two international call-ups with the Jamaican Men’s National Team, making his debut with the Reggae Boyz in an international friendly match against Trinidad & Tobago, as well as being called-up for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers during the June FIFA international window.

Atlanta United 2 will be back on the pitch on Wednesday, June 26 when the squad travels to take on Orlando City B (7:00 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass, Soccer Down Here).
