ATL UTD 2 is coming off a 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC last Saturday. Despite the defeat, Ajani Fortune earned his first professional assist when he sent a cross in for a header goal from Jackson Conway.
Jon Nelson (play-by-play) will be joined in the booth by journalist and broadcaster Jarrett Smith (analyst), filling in for Jason Longshore.
JACKSON CONWAY
The 20-year-old Homegrown forward scored his eighth goal of the season against Pittsburgh and his second in as many games.
Conway is the highest-scoring player in Atlanta United 2 history, scoring 20 goals in 68 games; however, the 20-year-old approaches yet another team record.
The striker needs only one goal to claim the single-season scoring record for the team; Aiden McFadden currently holds the record after scoring eight goals in the 2021 season.
FC TULSA IN 2022
Tulsa is coming off a 2-1 victory against Loudoun United, its third win over four matches.
In the previous meeting between the two teams at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 9, Atlanta fell to the hosts 2-1.
JJ Williams, still ranking first among Tulsa goal-scorers, has since made the move to Western Conference club Phoenix Rising.
