TRISTAN TRAGER
Tristan Trager continued his brilliant run of form by recording his first professional assist on Matheus’ goal against Tampa Bay.
The Air Force Academy graduate drew in defenders away from Matheus by driving through the middle of the pitch on a counterattack, clearing a path for the Venezuelan to run at goal and score on a chip shot over goalkeeper C.J. Cochran.
Primarily played at striker in his early tenure with the team, head coach Jack Collison deployed Trager in the midfield against the Rowdies
