Atlanta United named Georgia O’Donoghue Vice President of Business Operations on Aug. 2, 2021. O’Donoghue previously served as Atlanta United’s Director of Strategy and Operations, and originally joined AMB Sports & Entertainment in 2017. She leads integrated marketing, strategy and operations for the club, and reports to Atlanta United CEO & President, Garth Lagerwey.
Prior to joining Atlanta United, O’Donoghue held several customer-relation and fan-centric roles. She led the Fan Experience group at AMB Sports & Entertainment, partnering with stadium operators to continuously innovate the event day experience. She also spent two years as a strategist for LiquidHub, consulting with companies to find solutions to their gaps in employee and customer journeys. In addition, O’Donoghue started her career with several years in digital strategy and audience acquisition for startup HealthiNation and CNN.com in New York City.
A graduate from the University of Georgia, O’Donoghue lives in Buckhead with her husband Brendan, and their son Michael.
