Miguel Almirón has done it again.
The Paraguayan maestro's top-corner blast against D.C. United has been named the MLS Goal of the Week this week, earning 55% of the fan vote. The sizzling effort came on the end of an electric Atlanta United counterattack and a perfect first-time layoff from MLS Team of the Week member Julian Gressel. But the Paraguayan had plenty left to do, swerving an unstoppable hit into the top corner.
This is Almirón's first Goal of the Week win of the season, after securing the same honor three times last year. Miggy and his teammates will be hoping to score another stunner this weekend as they host the Vancouver Whitecaps for the first time ever at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
