ATLANTA (Feb. 11, 2022) – Atlanta United 2 today announced the team’s 2022 preseason schedule. They will host a total of five matches at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta, Ga. to prepare for the upcoming USL Championship season.
The team’s first preseason friendly takes place on Feb. 12 against Life University. The following week, ATL UTD 2 will take on Clayton State. Closing out the month of February is a friendly against South Georgia Tormenta FC.
The final two preseason fixtures see Atlanta face Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (Mar. 2) and Greenville Triumph (Mar. 5). All preseason fixtures will be closed to fans.
The 2022 USL Championship season begins on Saturday, March 12 at Louisville City. The team’s first home match of the regular season at Fifth Third Bank Stadium comes on March 16 against New York Red Bulls II.
