ATLANTA – Atlanta United today announced it has acquired two international roster spots for the duration of the 2022 season. Atlanta is receiving one international roster spot from Nashville SC in exchange for $175,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) and Atlanta’s natural third round selection in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, and another from Seattle Sounders FC in exchange for $175,000 in 2023 GAM.
Major League Soccer’s Secondary Transfer Window is slated to open Thursday, July 7.
Atlanta (5-5-4, 19 points) returns to action Saturday, June 25 when it travels to face Toronto FC at BMO Field (7:30 p.m., Bally Sports Southeast, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
