Atlanta United Announces Broadcast Changes for Chicago Fire FC match

ATLANTA – Atlanta United today announced a pair of changes to its upcoming broadcast on Saturday, July 30 at Chicago Fire FC (5:00 p.m., Bally Sports South, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor). Mike Conti (play-by-play) will fill in for Kevin Egan and Ashley ShahAhmadi (sideline/host) will fill in for Jillian Sakovits. They’ll be joined by Maurice Edu (analyst) with coverage beginning on Bally Sports South at 4:30 p.m. with Atlanta United Live!

For the radio broadcast on Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, Jason Longshore will take over play-by-play duties for Conti. Coverage will also begin at 4:30 p.m.

Conti has served as the club’s radio play-by-play announcer since the start of the 2018 season. He is currently the Brand Manager of 92-9 The Game and contributes daily to the station’s midday and afternoon shows. Additionally, he hosts the pregame, halftime and postgame shows on the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network.

ShahAhmadi has served as the sideline reporter for the Charlotte Hornets since 2018 and has also worked as the on-air host of Braves Live, the pre-game and post-game show of the Atlanta Braves Bally Sports broadcasts. The Atlanta, Georgia native is also an entertainment correspondent for CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown.
