On Wednesday, Atlanta United got their first loss under interim head coach Rob Valentino after going undefeated in their previous four MLS matches. Since being acquired in late March, Daniel Ríos has showcased his ability to create high quality scoring chances. His two most recent goals are an equalizer against St. Louis CITY SC and a late one against New England Revolution.
Cristian Arango (Real Salt Lake) – The Columbian forward is not only leading the MLS Golden Boot race with 16 goals, but he was also just selected for the MLS 2024 All-Star Game. Since arriving in Real Salt Lake during the 2023 Secondary Transfer Window, Arango has totaled 22 goals and 12 assists in just 31 matches.
