Atlanta United supporters bring a different energy to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground. Training appears a little more like a game – more voices on the pitch, brighter colors with kits on the sidelines, louder cheers when the ball finds the back of the net.
Season ticket members were on the ground in Marietta, Ga. Wednesday for an exclusive look at Atlanta United training. From a partly covered area on the side of the pitch, guests were able to watch a full session of their favorite soccer team. And this session wasn’t just for show. Atlanta United was in full competition mode, for there’s no time to rest with back-to-back away matches coming up next on the schedule.
Refreshments were provided on the patio and music pumped from the speaker to create a lively environment on a gorgeous spring morning. Club president & CEO Garth Lagerwey joined the crowd, chatting it up with members as Atlanta United players practiced their transition attack and defense. Those in attendance responded with “oohs” and “ahhs,” as players made one impressive move after another, brought to life spectacularly by this special young commentator:
After head coach Ronny Deila called a wrap on training, players greeted the members, meeting with each one of them and signing memorabilia that included Resurgens kits, soccer balls and The Connector. The group of roughly 75 in attendance meant each person was able to meet and speak with their favorite players including Brad Guzan, Miguel Almirón, Xande Silva and Saba Lobjanidze.
“I’m on the right side. I’m right in the field suite. Every time I go to the game, I look for you because of your class, eloquence and the way you play the game,” one supporter told Brooks Lennon.
Days like today are part of the benefits that come along with being a season ticket holder at Atlanta United. Season ticket members get to enjoy 5-Stripes soccer from some of the best seats in the house for home matches, whether it’s at an all-inclusive club, on-the-field or in Molly B’s Lounge at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Those who bought 2025 season tickets not only benefit from incredible views and exclusive perks at a world-class stadium. They also receive benefits for away matches, which include complimentary tickets for all MLS regular season matches, a free subscription to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and a 15 percent discount at the official Atlanta United Team Store.
And as the city of Atlanta welcomes the FIFA World Cup next year, 2026 is a great time to hop onboard the train that’s headed toward the heart of downtown in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Expect to see more details about renewing season tickets and joining the 2026 season ticket list this summer.
