BIG BOI

Big Boi – Atlanta Native Rapper, Actor, and Producer | Member of OutKast

Atlanta indisputably set the pace for modern hip-hop. However, Big Boi set the pace for Atlanta, and by proxy, the culture at large. Over two decades since he first burst onto the music scene, it's nearly impossible to escape his influence. Of course, he made history as the preeminent spitter of the Dungeon Family and one-half of OutKast. The legendary duo sold 25 million albums and have won seven GRAMMY® Awards while being often regarded as one of the greatest and most influential hip hop acts of all time.

Beyond his countless contributions on wax, Big Boi personally signed, supported, and shepherded superstars such as Janelle Monáe and Killer Mike. He also co-owns and operates Stankonia Studios in Atlanta. An active member of his community and devoted humanitarian, the ATL rap legend launched the Big Kidz Foundation, a nonprofit which aims to nurture the intellect of youth by providing them with culturally diverse experiences in the field of humanities.

Big Boi is featured 2023 Atlanta United FC production ‘Inside the 404’, where he shares his vision about 90s Atlanta and how he helped shape the culture of the city ever since through OutKast. ‘Inside the 404’ is a documentary produced by Atlanta United FC in collaboration with Atlanta Influences Everything, as part of the launch of the 404 Kit, Atlanta United’s 2023 third kit.
