EarthGang – Atlanta Native Hip-Hop Duo

Composed of Olu (Johnny Venus) and WowGr8 (Doctur Dot), Earthgang is one of the newer hip hop duos to hit the scene. Olu and WowGr8 were students at Benjamin Elijah Mays High Schoolwhen they met and formed their duo back in 2008 with their style being a more funky/unique approach to hip hop music. After releasing multiple solo records independently, they signed with Dreamville Records in 2017 where they released a trilogy of EPs leading up to their major label debut album titled Mirrorland. In February of 2022, their newest album dropped titled Ghetto Gods which included guest appearances from Future, JID, J. Cole, Musiq Soulchild, Baby Tate, Lynae Vanee, CeeLo Green, Nick Cannon and Ari Lennox.

Earthgang is featured 2023 Atlanta United FC production ‘Inside the 404’, where they talk about how Atlanta United has changed the sports scene. ‘Inside the 404’ is a documentary produced by Atlanta United FC in collaboration with Atlanta Influences Everything, as part of the launch of the 404 Kit, Atlanta United’s 2023 third kit.
