It’s that time of year again! The 2022 MLS All-Star Game voting has opened. Vote for your favorite Atlanta United players to represent Team MLS as they face the Liga MX All-Stars.
Vote for the players you see as the best fit for goalkeeper, right back, center back, left back, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, and forward/winger. 26 players will be chosen in total to represent MLS. 12 players will be voted upon by fans, players, and media, the next 12 will be selected by MLS All-Star head coach Adrian Heath from the host team Minnesota United FC and MLS Commissioner Don Garber will choose the final two members of the team.
Atlanta United has several players up for nomination: Luiz Araújo, Ronaldo Cisneros, Dom Dwyer, Thiago Almada, Matheus Rossetto, Marcelino Moreno, Franco Ibarra, Amar Sejdić, Andrew Gutman, George Campbell, Alan Franco, Miles Robinson, Brooks Lennon, Ronald Hernandez, Bobby Shuttleworth and Brad Guzan.
In order to qualify for the voting process players needed to appear in half of the team’s matches this season, as of June 1. Players who did not meet that criterion are still eligible if selected by MLS All-Star Coach Adrian Heath or MLS Commissioner Don Garber.
Voting closes July 2 at 2:59 a.m. ET and the All-Star match will take place on Aug. 10 at Allianz Field, home of Minnesota United FC.
