How to Watch: Atlanta United plays Georgia Revolution in Athens for the preseason

Atlanta United will continue its preseason with its second match against Georgia Revolution on Sunday, Jan. 30 at the Turner Soccer Complex on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens. The game kicks off at 12:00 p.m. and will be live streamed on ATLUTD.com/live.

Per MLS rules, the stream is only available in local broadcast territory (residents of Georgia, Alabama and parts of Tennessee).

Tickets to the Athens game went on sale to season ticket members on Wednesday and sold out that same day. The club announced earlier this week that a portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation.

The team had their first preseason match on Tuesday against the Georgia Storm. The scrimmage was a closed-door match consisting of two 30-minute halves. There, head coach Gonzalo Pineda was able to watch on as his team implemented some of the concepts and principles they practiced earlier in the week.

Following the game in Athens, Atlanta United travels to Mexico for three preseason matchups. The team will meet Celaya FC on Feb. 6 and Chivas and Tepatitlán FC on Feb. 13. From there, the team will return home and prepare for its final preseason matchup against Birmingham Legion on Feb. 20. All remaining preseason matches will be streamed live on the website.

Atlanta United kicks off the 2022 season on Feb. 27 against Sporting Kansas City at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Click here to view tickets.
