Atlanta's own Homegrown defender Caleb Wiley earned his first selection to the U.S. men's national team camp last week. If U.S. head coach Anthony Hudson calls Wiley's name on Wednesday, it'll mark the 18-year-old's senior team debut.
Wiley is in the midst of a strong season for his club in MLS. Through eight matches, Wiley ranks third on the team in scoring with three goals and has also tacked on two assists. He scored a first-half brace in Atlanta United's 3-0 shutout over Charlotte FC, earning the Homegrown MLS Player of the Matchday and Team of the Matchday honors for Week 3.
