How to Watch: eMLS League Series 1

The knockout stage of the 2022 eMLS League Series 1 is underway and Paulo Neto is in position to bring Atlanta United its first trophy of the year.

Paulo booked his spot in the knockout round of League Series 1 after finishing top eight in the qualifying stage. He defeated Lamps, Minnesota United’s eMLS representative, 5-2 on aggregate in a two-leg quarterfinal on Saturday.

eMLS League Series 1 Semifinal: Atlanta United vs. D.C. United

After Saturday's results, only four remain in contention for the 2022 eMLS League Series 1 trophy and a share of the $20,000 prize pool.

Paulo will take on D.C. United's KingCJ0, Sunday, Jan. 16 at 3 p.m. ET, live on MLS Twitch, MLS Twitter and MLSsoccer.com. The stream will also be hosted at twitch.tv/ATLUTD.

On the other side of the bracket, Toronto FC's GoalMachine and Nashville's Joksan go head-to-head. The winners will compete in the final Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.

The Sao Paulo, Brazil native is looking to add to his trophy cabinet after a successful 2021 season that included a first-place finish in the FIFAe Nationas Cup Qualifier with Brazil, a top 4 finish in the CONMEBOL eLibertadores, and the No. 11 spot in the FIFA Global Series ranking.

Despite the tournament’s online format, Paulo has made the journey to compete from the club’s headquarters in Atlanta. He'll look to bring the club its first-ever eMLS League Series trophy in his third season with the club.
