Atlanta United travels north to take on Toronto FC at BMO Field on Saturday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. EST.
The two teams have faced each other once this season in MLS competition and will meet twice in the final three weeks. Atlanta won the first matchup 1-0 on August 18.
It’s the first match in two weeks for Atlanta following a 2-1 loss to Montreal. Toronto has won four of its last five matches, including a win over Chicago 3-1 on October 3. In the Eastern Conference standings, Atlanta is currently one spot below the playoff line with 39 points. Toronto is still in the mix, but a loss on Saturday would eliminate the club from playoff contention.
