Atlanta United is set to close out the regular season Sunday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. EST, in a Decision Day clash with FC Cincinnati at TQL Stadium.
This will mark the third and final meeting between these two Eastern Conference opponents this season. The 5-Stripes' debut at TQL Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw on July 21, but they followed it up with a 4-0 win in Atlanta on Sept. 15.
Atlanta (12-9-12, 48 points) looks to clinch a spot in the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs and extend its unbeaten streak to six games. After a 0-0 draw on the road against New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, Atlanta United could secure a First Round home match with a win and New York City FC loss against the Philadelphia Union.Cincinnati (4-21-8, 20 points) is not in playoff contention, but looks to close out their season on a high note on the club’s fan appreciation night.
