Atlanta United travels north to take on CF Montréal at Stade Saputo on Saturday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
The two teams have faced each other twice this season in MLS competition. Atlanta won the first matchup 1-0 on May 15. They tied their last meeting 2-2 to kick off Atlanta's five-game unbeaten streak in August.
It’s the first road match for Atlanta following a 1-0 victory at home against Inter Miami when Josef Martínez scored his 100th goal with the club. Montréal is coming off back-to-back losses against New England and Columbus. In the Eastern Conference standings, Atlanta is currently above the playoff line with 39 points. Montréal is below the playoff line in eighth place but is just two points behind Atlanta.
