MLS All-Star Week is here. Several members from Atlanta United are in Washington D.C. to commemorate the week of world-class soccer events.
Thiago Almada and Giorgos Giakoumakis are in the nation's capital to represent the first team at the MLS All-Star Game on Wednesday. Almada will also be participating in the annual Skills Challenge on Tuesday.
Shawn Lanza and Rocket Ritarita, along with Atlanta United Academy’s U-16 head coach Kevin Kratz, are representing the club at the second annual MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate. The Atlanta United Special Olympics Unified Team has three members of their own participating in the Unified All-Star match Wednesday afternoon: player Liam Stuart, partner Nick Villar and head coach Marty Jelleme.
The annual MLS All-Star game kicks off Wednesday, July 19 from Audi Field and will see stars from MLS take on Arsenal FC from the English Premier League.
