A historic performance gets some well-deserved recognition.
Josef Martinez has been named in the MLS Team of the Week, the weekly honor voted on by league writers. Martinez was a constant menace for the Orlando City defenders in a heated rivalry match, and capped off his performance with a record-breaking goal to win it. It was his 28th goal of the season, most ever in a single season, and his ninth straight match with a goal –– tied for the all-time league-best streak.
