Atlanta United forward Josef Martinez has been named to Venezuela’s 23-man roster for Copa America, which will take place in Brazil from June 14-July 7.
The reigning MLS MVP and Golden Boot winner leads Atlanta United with 10 goals this season. Martinez has scored 10 goals in 47 appearances with Venezuela.
Venezuela are in Group A and will open the tournament against Peru on June 15 before playing Brazil on June 18 and Bolivia on June 22. The knockout stage begins June 27 with the final taking place on July 7.
