ATL UTD 2 returns home after a 4-0 defeat to Birmingham Legion on Saturday, July 20. Following the postponement of its July 5 match against Charleston Battery, Atlanta will play its first home match since June 15 against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
Charlotte enters Wednesday’s match unbeaten in seven straight games including four wins during that stretch. The Independence currently sits in 10th place in the Eastern Conference and occupies the final playoff spot.
