Atlanta most recently defeated Swope Park Rangers 2-1 Friday, Aug. 16 in Kennesaw, Georgia. Jackson Conway scored his fifth goal of the season while an own-goal proved to be the game-winner as ATL UTD 2 extended its home unbeaten streak to three matches. Goalkeeper Brendan Moore made six saves including stopping a penalty to preserve the win.
Hartford is looking to rebound from a 5-1 loss to New York Red Bulls II on Aug. 10. Sebastian Dalgaard gave Hartford the lead in the 31st minute with a long-range strike, but Alex Davey and Raymond Lee were each shown a red card in the 53rd minute which reduced the home team to 9 men for the remainder of the match. New York went on the score five goals to hand Hartford its third consecutive home loss.
