Atlanta travels to Lynn Family Stadium to face off against Louisville for the third meeting between the two clubs this season. ATL UTD 2 is coming off a week of rest after a tough three-game homestand. The team looks to bounce back after losing 1-0 to Sporting KC II. Alexander Garuba made his first start of the season and Atlanta United Academy player Jonantan Villal made his debut for ATL UTD 2 versus SKC II.

Last time Atlanta and Louisville faced off, Atlanta earned three points and a clean sheet at home in Jack Collison’s managerial debut. Aiden McFadden tapped in the game’s lone goal, while Alec Kann had seven saves, including a critical double-save on a penalty kick to secure the win. Most recently, Louisville is coming off a 3-1 win versus OKC Energy FC Wednesday night. Going into the weekend, Louisville sits at the top of the table in the Central Division with 23 points, while Atlanta is in fifth with 14 points.
