Atlanta United 2 will face Saint Louis FC Saturday night at West Community Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8:30 p.m. EST and can be seen live on ESPN+.
ATL UTD 2 travels to Fenton, Missouri for the first time to take on Saint Louis FC in the second meeting between the two sides season. Atlanta fell 2-0 to Saint Louis back on April 6 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. ATL UTD 2 is unbeaten in its last four matches, winning three during that span, while Saint Louis is fighting to stay above the playoff line as it currently sits ninth in the Eastern Conference.
In its last outing, Atlanta beat Indy Eleven 2-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Kennesaw, Georgia. George Campbell opened the game with his first professional goal, heading in a corner kick in the 24th minute. Indy tied the match in the 36th minute through Patrick Barrett, but Andrew Carleton responded with the game-winner in the 61st minute. It was the Homegrown’s fourth-straight match with a goal and his fifth during that stretch. Carleton will be unavailable for Saturday’s match after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
Saint Louis dropped its last match 1-0 to Memphis 901 FC on Sept. 21 at AutoZone Park which snapped a five-match win streak. Marcus Epps scored the lone goal in the second half to give Memphis its eighth win of the season.
