Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Saturday, June 9 when it faces Indy Eleven at Lucas Oil Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Atlanta United 2 drew 0-0 with Tampa Bay Rowdies Saturday, June 2 at Al Lang Stadium in a match which saw each team have a player sent off in the first half. Paul Christensen matched his season-high with four saves to help ATL UTD 2 post its first clean sheet of the season and snap a five-match road losing streak. The Rowdies had scored in 30 consecutive home games prior to Saturday night, dating back all the way to a 1-0 loss against FC Edmonton on August 20, 2016. The match at Indy is the final game of a four-match road swing for Atlanta before the team returns home for back-to-back games at Coolray Field June 13 and 16 against Charlotte and Ottawa.

Indy Eleven last played Wednesday, May 30 in a dramatic 3-3 draw against Charleston Battery at Lucas Oil Stadium. Soony Saad scored right before the half to give Indy a 1-0 lead, but Charleston’s O’Brian Woodbine leveled the score in the 62nd minute. Ataulla Guerra gave the Battery a 2-1 lead in the 80th, but Ayoze Garcia tied the game in the 86th. Ayoze thought to have scored the game-winner in the third minute of stoppage time, however Tah Anunga netted the game-tying goal a minute later as both sides split the points.

Saturday’s match marks the first meeting between ATL UTD 2 and Indy Eleven.
