Substitute Marios Lomis pulled one back late, but the loss snapped a four-match unbeaten run for North Carolina FC which moved to 2-4-2 (8 pts) on the year. North Carolina also played in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and downed Ocean City Nor’easters 4-1 on Tuesday, May 22 at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. Austin da Luz notched a goal and assist against the Premier Development League side to help advance NCFC to the Fourth Round.
