Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Saturday, June 16 when it hosts Ottawa Fury FC at Coolray Field. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ATL UTD 2 fought back in the second half to tie Charlotte Independence 1-1 Wednesday, June 13 at Coolray Field. Despite allowing an early goal off a corner in the 6th minute, Atlanta United Academy U-19 goalkeeper Justin Garces made three saves in his professional debut while Shawn Nicklaw forced an own-goal with a strike from distance in the 79th minute as both sides split the points.

Ottawa Fury FC fell 4-2 against North Carolina FC on Wednesday at WakeMed Soccer Park after allowing three first-half goals. Fury FC scored twice from Kevin Oliveira and D.J. Taylor in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as Ottawa dropped its second-consecutive match following a 4-0-2 record during May.

Saturday marks the second meeting between ATL UTD 2 and Ottawa Fury. In the first meeting on May 12, a pair of first half goals from Ottawa put the match out of reach as Atlanta out-shot its opponent 10-6, but only put two on frame.
