How to watch, listen and live stream CF Montréal vs. Atlanta United

Recent Form

After a good run of form that included going undefeated in four consecutive matches, Atlanta has hit a tough stretch. The team is coming off back-to-back road losses in MLS play during Fourth of July week and was recently eliminated from the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Meanwhile, CF Montréal has had a mix of results. Most recently, they're coming off a 1-1 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps at home.

Series History and Last Meeting

Atlanta holds a 7-3-3 all-time record against CF Montréal in MLS regular season play. Last time these two teams met, it was at the end of the 2023 season. At home, the 5-Stripes put on a resounding performance, beating CF Montréal 4-1 behind goals from Xande Silva, Thiago Almada, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Edwin Mosquera to send the club to the MLS Cup playoffs for fifth time in history.

Players to Watch

Daniel Ríos (Atlanta United) - Six goal contributions in as many matches is a significant output for the Mexican striker, who joined the club in the spring on loan from CD Guadalajara in Liga MX. His most recent goal came against Real Salt Lake, and he also scored the lone goal for the 5-Stripes in New England. With Jamal Thiaré making his way back from a shoulder injury, Atlanta will rely on Ríos to contribute from the striker position.

MatĂas CĂ³ccaro (CF MontrĂ©al) - The Uruguayan forward ranks second in goals scored for CF MontrĂ©al this season (4) in fewer than 600 minutes played. His latest goal came in the team's most recent draw with Vancouver. CĂ³ccaro scored the equalizer to save a point at home. He'll be one to watch in the later moments of the match, especially if he comes on as a super sub.
