The opening whistle for Atlanta United's match against Portland Timbers on Saturday signaled history for Miles Robinson. The center back made his 100th appearance in MLS regular season competition. He becomes just the fourth player in Atlanta United history to reach the mark.

Robinson's career with Atlanta United began with the 2017 MLS SuperDraft when the club made him their first-ever SuperDraft pick and selected him No. 2 overall out of Syracuse. He went on to make his club debut that same year in the U.S. Open Cup against Charleston Battery. His MLS debut came on April 7, 2018 and he was a member of Atlanta United's roster that won the 2018 MLS Cup.

In his 100 matches played, Robinson has grown into one of the top defenders in the league. He was named to MLS Best XI in 2019 and 2021. For the 2021 season, he was a finalist for MLS Defender of the Year.

His contributions have come mostly on the defensive side of the ball, but Robinson has also registered some significant offensive moments as well. Robinson recorded his first career assist against Nashville SC on May 29, 2021. On Decision Day in 2021, he scored his first career MLS goal against FC Cincinnati.

He joins Josef Martínez, Jeff Larentowicz and Brad Guzan as the only players in Atlanta United history to reach the 100 mark.
