The Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs will take a brief pause as the final FIFA international window of the year runs from November 13-21. Four Atlanta United players have been called up to play for their home countries: Miles Robinson, Thiago Almada, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Luis Abram.
We'll be keeping track of when the 5-Stripes take the pitch, so here's how to watch and follow along during this international break:
Miles Robinson has joined the U.S. men's national team multiple times throughout the year, including this summer when the team won its second consecutive CONCACAF Nations League trophy. Now, the Atlanta United centerback will reunite with the squad as it begins the quest for a third title in the two-leg quarterfinals against Trinidad and Tobago.
A few days after being named the 2023 MLS Young Player of the Year, Thiago Almada was called up by head coach Javier Mascherano to join the Argentina U23 national team. The squad will face Japan in two friendlies as preparation for the pre-Olympic tournament in Venezuela next January.
