Thiago Almada Named to MLS Team of the Week

Atlanta United hold the record of 13 matches undefeated at Mercedes-Benz Stadium after the 2-2 tie against New England Revolution on Sunday May 15. Thiago Almada got the lead early on in the match scoring an unassisted goal in the 15th minute.

Almada’s contributions were felt throughout the match with 90-minutes played, 84.6 percent passing accuracy and three shots on target. The Argentine midfielder provided the assist on Luiz Araújo’s goal that equalized the match. For his contributions on the pitch Almada was named to the MLS Team of the Week.
