The summer transfer window is open, and Atlanta United has a lot of money in their pockets to work with. And with the three rule changes to the roster that the league announced in July, Atlanta United has more flexibility to add to their roster.
The secondary transer window officially runs from July 18 to August 14. During this window, Atlanta United may request the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) of a player under contract in another country. While deals may be agreed upon outside these windows, the transfer and receipt of an ITC are required to officially add a player to a roster, thus making him eligible for official competitions.

INBOUND: Alexey Miranchuk
The announcement of Alexey Miranchuk marks the first designated player signing for Atlanta United in the secondary transfer window. And the midfielder's record includes some serious hardware. He's won the UEFA Europa League with Atalanta BC and the Russian Cup three times with Lokomotiv Moscow. At 28 years old, Miranchuk arrives to Atlanta in his prime, and he has the quality to make an instant impact.

OUTBOUND: Caleb Wiley
Caleb Wiley's departure announced on July 22 signals the elevation of the most successful Homegrown player in franchise history. Wiley has worked his way up the pathway, beginning his career at 11 years old as part of the inaugural Atlanta United Academy class. He leaves his hometown to live out his dreams of playing in Europe, a compliment to Wiley's hard work and Atlanta United's development system, as Wiley sets the example for Academy kids for decades to come.

OUTBOUND: Aiden McFadden
The fullback has spent most of the season on loan with Louisville City FC of the USL Championship. On July 19, Atlanta United announced McFadden's permanent transfer to the same club. The 25-year-old joined Atlanta through the 2021 MLS SuperDraft after playing at Notre Dame University. During his time in Atlanta, McFadden played 11 matches and started eight in MLS.

INBOUND: Pedro Amador
The opening of the transfer window means the official addition of Pedro Amador, the defender Atlanta United announced on July 1. The 25-year-old left back joins Atlanta after making 114 professional appearances in his home country of Portugal’s first and second divisions with Moreirense and SC Braga, recording a total of two goals and nine assists across all competitions.
