On June 14, Atlanta United will face CF Pachuca in the inaugural American Family Insurance Cup, and our 17s will get to be the decision makers on and off the pitch. Everything from the music, the kit our 5-Stripes wear, and the way Mercedes-Benz Stadium is lit up, it’s all up to our 17s.
CF Pachuca finished the regular season at the top of the 2022 Liga MX Clausura. Pachuca is set to face Atlas FC in the first leg of the league final on May 26.
3v3 Cup Kick Off
To start off the American Family Insurance Cup, we are hosting a 3v3 Cup Kickoff. The tournament will consist of a round-robin style tournament for ages U8 to U14. Teams will be broken down by age and gender. The matches consist of two 10-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime between, there will be three matches and a chance to qualify for playoffs.
The 3v3 Kickoff will be on June 11 at Gary Pirkle Park. The tournament will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All the details can be found here.
