All season, Atlanta United has been cruising the streets of Atlanta – ITP and OTP – in search of winners for their “Flags Out campaign.” This week, in partnership with Coca-Cola, the club selected Hollis Brown and Hector Cruz, to receive special prize packs including the all new FIFA 18. These two lucky fans received an advance copy before the game even hit stores.
First up, Hollis Brown was greeted at his home in Lawrenceville, Georgia where he proudly displays his Atlanta United Flag from his front porch. A knock on the door from Atlanta United left Brown speechless and ecstatic to receive his special prize pack.
Brown originally born in Manchester, England, now calls Lawrenceville home. He is a member of Terminus Legion and has coached soccer for several years. He even has a tattoo of the club shield on his forearm. Brown was saving up his paychecks to buy the new FIFA 18, but luckily for him, he received the game all for having his Atlanta United Flag proudly hanging outside his house.
Brown said, "Thank you guys so much. That's amazing!"
The Atlanta United G-Wagon rolled on to surprise another fan which turned out to be Hector Cruz, a Chamblee native and avid Atlanta United Supporter. He grew up playing for Chamblee Youth Soccer and Chamblee High School’s Soccer Team. Hector could not believe the club would surprise him at his house with such an exclusive prize. When Cruz opened the door he said, "Oh my G-d that is freaking crazy. I am speechless."
Brown and Cruz are just two of the many Flags Out winners that have been chosen for displaying their Five Stripe flags for all to see and they’re certainly not the last. Hang yours high, show your pride for ATL UTD and you could be next!
