This week on Keeping Up With King presented by Zep...
I'm back home in Atlanta! I had a paws-itively great time on my trip to New York City. As nice as it was to be in the Big Apple, I was ready to get back home to my own treats, toys and stomping ground.
Last week, I got to see a bunch of my 5-Stripe pals -- and make some new ones too! I hung out around the Front Porch at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before the Atlanta United match. My friends at Zep hosted a meet-and-greet there. I met some new people and got my picture taken. I have to say, no one takes a picture like I do. Match days are always a doggone good time!
With my training, I'm continuing to learn how to stay calm around new people. My first instinct might be to bark to alert my trainer to someone new approaching, but I'm learning to be conscious of my surroundings. My trainer teaches me to wait when a new person approaches, then instructs me on when it's time to say hello!
I also got to see the new scarf that Atlanta United designed for August. It's specially designed for America's VetDogs! That's the organization that's training me to become a service dog. The scarf features the classic red and black colors of Atlanta United, along with the VetDogs logo. The dog on the scarf looks a lot like me, I have to say!
Did you know that YOU can meet me soon? I'll be at the Atlanta United match on Sunday when our boys take on D.C. United. Don't wait and buy your tickets today!
