Career Summary

Sanchez, 17, was part of the 2023 U-16 side that went 22-1-1 in the Regular Season and took home the MLS NEXT Cup, where he scored in a 3-1 victory over Strikers FC in the title match.

The former Academy standout is eligible to represent the United States at the international level. In 2024, Sanchez made his debut with the United States U-16 squad and was called up for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, where he started three games as the U.S. advanced to the round of 16.

In 2025, Sanchez started 16 of his 19 appearances with ATL UTD 2 and scored his first professional goal against Huntsville City FC in a 2-0 win. After earning four short-term agreements to the First Team, Sanchez signed a Homegrown contract on Aug. 5, 2025. With the First Team, Sanchez made his debut as a substitute in a Leagues Cup against Atlas on Aug. 6, and his MLS debut on Sept. 13 against Columbus Crew. The 17-year-old made his first MLS start against Inter Miami CF on Oct. 11.

2025 (Atlanta United): MLS: Made two appearances in MLS, including one start against Inter Miami CF. Leagues Cup: Made his First Team debut in Leagues Cup against Atlas. (Atlanta United 2): MLS NEXT Pro: Made 16 starts in 19 appearances, scoring once and adding two assists.

International: Has made numerous call ups to the U-16 and U-17 United States National Teams. In 2025, Sanchez was called up to represent the United States in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar where his side reached the Round of 16.
