RDS Player Evaluations
In order to support players ongoing development, RDS programs offer a detailed end-of-season player evaluation upon the conclusion of the season (Fall, Winter & Spring).
The RDS Player Evaluation is designed to give feedback on how players have done within sessions in the RDS program. Coach’s also have the ability to share “Highlights” (areas in which players do well and should continue to focus) as well as “Even Better If’s” (areas of improvement) and “Immediate & Ongoing Development Goals”.
RDS Player Evaluations also include 1-10 ratings on a variety of attributes within the game, which contribute to an overall score on their RDS Player Card. The purpose of these scores is to inspire players to continue training in their own time and endeavor to pick areas of their game to improve over time.
*Please note that these scores are subjective and are not used for RDS Showcase, UTD Juniors or Academy recommendations. Scores are not an indicator of player development, merely a tool to encourage players to continue working hard and take ownership of their development.
