Register to try out for the Regional Development School

Atlanta United is committed to the development of homegrown players. The first step on that pathway is our Regional Development School. RDS is a tryout-based program focused on high-level training to push and challenge advanced players ages 7-14.

What is RDS?

  • What:  RDS is a tryout-based program, supplemental to a player’s current training environment (additional small group training). Players who are accepted into the RDS program are given the opportunity to take ownership of their own development and work on technical areas of the game with Atlanta United’s professionally licensed coaches. The curriculum is designed around the development of competitive and advanced level soccer players.

*All players must try out each season regardless of if you have made the program before or not. This is to ensure we are continuously creating a competitive training environment for all players.

RDS Trainings

  • Who: Advanced level players. Boys program accommodates ages 7 to 14, girls ages 7 to 16.
  • When: Weekly 90-minute training sessions seasonally (Fall: 8 weeks, Winter I: 6 weeks, Winter II: 6 weeks, Spring: 8 weeks).
