GA 100 Road to 100

The Atlanta United Community Fund (AUCF), an affiliated fund of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, is launching the next phase of its GA 100 program to construct or upgrade 100 soccer pitches across Georgia. This grant initiative will use a two-step application process: a Letter of Intent (LOI) followed by a formal application. Organizations whose LOIs are reviewed and approved will be invited to submit a full application for funding consideration. Criteria for support include:

  • Soccer Pitch Eligibility: Funding is intended to develop mini-pitches and full-sized pitches with a minimum dimension of 90’ x 60’ in under-resourced Georgia communities. GA 100 grants are solely for the development of the pitch. The use of funds to develop surrounding amenities (lighting, restrooms, concessions, etc.) is prohibited.
  • Match Funding: AUCF will match (1:1) every dollar raised by community partners (cash or in-kind donation) up to $100,000 per field. Applicants may apply for more than $100,000 to construct or upgrade multiple soccer fields. Funding requests for developing multiple pitches are subject to matching fund eligibility requirements.
  • Funding Readiness: GA 100 grants are intended to serve as the final dollars committed to a project, helping close remaining funding gaps and move projects into implementation. Applicants should demonstrate that the majority of project funding has already been secured or is actively committed prior to requesting GA 100 support.
